Finally, the second brevet of the year#
After the fiasco last week, when I had to cancel my trip to Astorga, I had high hopes for the next 200 in my calendar, but the week didn’t start any better than the previous couple of weeks.
Several problems appeared, all at once, including our smaller daughter being sick again. No chance to get any cycling done… ouch.
I had to start considering that, maybe, I would have to cancel this 200 too.
But… here I am, laying on the bed in a Hotel in Coruña, near the starting point for tomorrow. Big surprise, honestly.
I’ve had a big bowl of pasta salad for (early) dinner and a snickers bar as dessert. Then I double checked the weather forecast for tomorrow (rain… let’s see tomorrow how much), the lights, the garmin, prepared the clothes I’ll wear…
While doing all that, I noticed how tired I do feel. It has been a hell of a week. Actually, the last few weeks have been quite rough, with the whole family getting (and passing) the Flu (except me). I didn’t have much time for cycling, with the exception of a few short rides on the trainer.
So, let’s see what will happen tomorrow…
